John McCain Now Back on Top in Ohio

John McCain now has a two-point lead on Barack Obama in Ohio, 49% to 47%, in the latest Rasmussen survey in the state. A week ago Obama was ahead by two points, his first lead in Ohio since tracking of the race began in Feb. The current poll finds McCain with his highest level of support since September. Mid-week, McCain is still trending upward.

John Kerry accuses Mitt Romney of "changing on every fundamental issue"

In an interview with David Pakman, host of Midweek Politics, US Senator from Massachusetts John Kerry stated that Mitt Romney, Republican presidential candidate for 2008, "has changed on every fundamental issue to American politics," also adding that "he has a new position on almost every issue." In an interview on Pacifica Radio's "Midweek Politics," in April of 2007, Ralph Nader, when asked about whether he still stands by his statements before the 2000 election that "Bush and Gore are essentially the same," said that they are the same, and that it's not about asking "what if" questions.
